Using Clockgen for a Core 2 Quad Q6700...how?

Ive concluded that my mobo doesnt allow for OCing after reading a bit... Ive seen alot of people using Clockgen and Crystal Cupid (?) but Ive never used them. I want to OC my CPU to around 3.2ghz from 2.66ghz...I plan to upgrade cooler if successful.

Processor: Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66ghz
Mobo: Asus IPIBL-LB 800/1066/1333mhz
RAM: 4x1Gb PC2-5300 667mhz (333mhz)

What settings should I use to achieve desired clock? is there any tried-n-tested best setups I could use? My PLL is CV174C I believe.

I meant DDR2 800/1066/1333mhz mobos.....http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1857609/full-overclocking-guide-core-duo-core-quad-socket-775-socket.html

Either way, it looks like I have to buy a new mobo to fit it OR buy a whole new CPU+mobo...
It just seems worth it to buy a used mobo for 50$ if I can get to 3.6ghz...thats pretty fast for an old chip

Even if its on DDR3 motherboards...theyre still limited to the same 800/1066/1333mhz, right?....so how did all these people OC to 3.6ghz stable?

I have read that the Core2Quad is very good for OC...

I see... I have some extra DDR3 RAM laying around...2 sticks of 2Gb... Would it then be worth it to find a used or a cheaper new DDR3 mobo? This must be how people are getting there C2Q's to 3.6ghz+. I dont see how else they would be doing it...
