does AMD FX-4300 FX support 64 bit

I am planning to make a custom PC and I am thinking of AMD FX-4300 FX as my processor because, it is very inexpensive and offers good performance. I will use the custom build for audio production and video editing. I want to install Windows 8.1 64 bit on my machine. So I want to Know if FX-4300 FX supports 64 but. Thanks in advance...

Let me make few things clear for you.

1) Any motherboard that is manufactured with AM2 socket, AM3 socket or higher will endorse 64 bit OS.

2) Any motherboard that is manufactured for Core 2 Duo, and new cores like i3, i5 and i7 will support 64 bit OS.

3) By knowing the above 2 points, it has become definite that -

In AMD, Processors that fit into AM2, AM3 or higher will support 64 Bit
In Intel, Processors from Core 2 Duo to latest ones will support 64 Bit

Update 1: This is a 64-bit generation. So, almost every processor and motherboard will be supporting 64 Bit, for sure.
