PCI-E x16 (Compatible) what does that mean? does that mean that its a PCI-E x16 slot? or is it a PCI-E 1.0a x16 slot or is it a PCI-E 1.0 x16 slot? or is it a PCI-E 1.1 x16 slot? and if its 1.0 its compatible with 2.0 and 3.0 but 1.0a is not and neither is 1.1 right?

All PCI-E x16 cards will work in all x16 slots, as of right now we can't even full the bandwidth of a x16 PCI-E gen2 (The same speed as 8x gen3) hope this helps

PCI-E X16 means any X16 slot that is capable of running that speed (2.0/3.0 preferable). 1.0/1.1 is a little slower but still does X16.
