i have a desktop pc (HP Pro 3300 Microtower PC) specs are:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz
Manufacturer Intel
Speed 3.3 GHz
Number of Cores 4
Video Card Integrated Intel HD4000
Manufacturer Intel
Chipset Intel HD4000
Dedicated Memory 64
Total Memory 2.0 GB
Memory 4.1 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
Service Pack 1
Size 64 Bit
Edition Professional
Display Maximum Resolution 1600 x 900

i want to install a new graphic card which is:
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS
Manufacturer NVIDIA
Chipset GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS
Dedicated Memory 256 MB
Total Memory 2.0 GB

is it compatible with my desktop pc? cause the one that i want to install is only from a busted pc with a faulty motherboard but i'm pretty sure its video card is still can use...so i decided to transfer it to my new desktop pc..
is there anyone who can answer me? if you want to ask more about my pc's specification, just ask and i give it to you...thank you! i'm also rookie when it comes to pc hardware. so please help me.. thank you!

HP sates this;

# PCI Express x16 slots (1)

# 300W aPFC power supply

So yes it will work, It's an old card and I would expect intel HD Graphics 4000 to be better then it.

thanks for the answer @unknownofprob ...
if that so.. i really don't need to change my graphic card?
even if the transferred one has a higher dedicated memory?

Intel HD graphics 4000 is better, though if you want to try that other card you can.

Video memory isn't everything, it's about the GPU core itself also.

thanks again bro..
cause some of my friends says that its better to have another graphic card if you are only using an built-in graphic card which is the Intel HD Card. but now i don't have a budget to buy a new one with a higher specification. so i find something to save some cash for that. then i found this old card..he he its that true? plug-n-play graphic card is better than the built-in one?
