Below are the specs for the comp. that I want to build. It looks pretty finalized at this point. My main uses will be video editing with light/medium 3d/AE work. Feel free to stab at it though with any suggestions to get the most efficiency. the msi motherboard sort of scares me. Has anyone had any experience with it, I am scared its too cheap=too good to be true. Has anyone used it? Also feel free to find any problems with the specs that I have overlooked or didnt include at all that I would need. Much appreciation and thanks in advance.

MSI CSM-B75MA-P45 LGA 1155 Intel B75 Sata 6b/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel MB
Intel i7- 4770k Haswell 3.5 ghz

Solution
The cpu is LGA1150. The mobo is LGA1155. They don't work together.

Whats your budget? Where are you buying from?

Just buy a Seagate barracuda hdd, not a nas type.

Don't buy Antec True power. Get Antec HCG modular.

Don't buy 1 stick of 8gb ram. Buy 2 of 4gb ram. Get 1866 - its only a few more dollars than 1600.

O wow your right cant believed I missed that. I switched cpu at last minute so thats prob what happened. Thank you. My question for you about ram is that I would in the future want to add more to get to 32 so I thought id slowly build in increments of 8gb at a time. Is that smarter for the money or should I go your rpute of getting 2 four gigs.

Budget 2000 buying from newegg

Thanks again
