No difference. Just make sure if it is OEM, you will not be able to reinstall it on another pc or laptop. Have you checked that your laptop supports Windows 8? This is less obvious, but you should check out in forums about your model, if it was sold with it or if people managed to put windows 8 on it... or had issues!
