Check in your device manager if something is not installed. You will find it in your control panel. Usually they will be a yellow flag or something like "unknown hardware".
Maybe you can install this... If you have no CD, you can download drivers manually from the manufacturer. My old dell still has all the driver and support stuff online. Check for yours.
