Hello,
Bought a new graphics card for a new build(pny gtx 770). Put it all together and installed drivers and right after the reset for the drivers I get hit with blue screen. There is no way around the blue screen besides running in safemode. When i uninstall drivers it all works well, I tried doing complete uninstalls and installing different versions but still issues.

Also when I unplug the card everything is fine and I also tossed a gtx 750ti in there and the computer boot normally and it recognized the 750ti with my drivers automatically.

Im pretty sure its the graphics card thats having the issues but maybe you guys know a fix or have some other suggestions. Problem with the bad graphics card is I bought it from a friend of a friend so return process isnt as easy as going to best buy.

Intel i5 3570k
Asrock z77e
WD 1tb 7200rpm
Pny gtx 770 2gb
Atec 550w psu 80plus

My first suspicion is the same as yours. It could be a bad video card or possibly a faulty PSU. Does the PSU make any strange sounds with the 770?

Oops I just accidentally clicked your post as the solution, not sure if I can reverse that. And no it makes no weird noises with it plugged in.
