Hello,
I have a problem:
my laptop uses the integrated graphics (Intel HD 3000) instead
of the video card (Nvidia 520M), and I want to use the 520M.
I have searched Google for this problem, but none of the solutions
worked. I tried to set the preferred video card to the "powerful NVIDIA-processor"
but that didn't work.
I tried to right-click on programs and selected "execute with powerful NVIDIA-processor"
but that didn't work either.
I don't have the option in BIOS to change anything about it.
I made a screenshot of MSI afterburner:

You can see that only the Intel HD (GPU2) gets used, but not the 520M.
I hope someone can help me with this problem.
Thanks in advance.

PS Has this something to do with Nvidia Optimus?

The screen went black, (after i disabled the integrated graphics) so I rebooted the computer. The resolution was 1280 x 720 (instead of the normal 1600x900) and the computer was very slow. I couldn't open the Nvidia control screen or Intel control screen. MSI afterburner couldn't find any video card.
