I have an MSI B75MA-E33(MS-7808) motherboard and a Armaggeddon 550 Watt power supply. Please assist by telling if it will support a GDDR5 Graphics card.

Yes it most certainly will and 550 watts is plenty although i have never heard of you psu. Try to find how many amps on the 12v rail it should say it on the back of the power supply in a grid most likely. look for 12v and the amount of amps it should be written next to it. It might look like this: +12V@38A

Card:
Look at the 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Those are a good guide. A GTX770 for example uses 1x6-pin and a 1x8-pin so if you can supply those you can handle up to a GTX770.

The CPU is an indicator of whether you will be bottlenecked much in games. If it's a 2-core you may be severely bottlenecked in some games. I'm not saying to NOT get a GTX770 or similar just that performance won't match the benchmarks of some games with the same graphics card if your CPU isn't as good as the one tested with.

Other:
For better feedback state:
a) type of games you wish to play
b) max budget
c) CPU you have (use CPU-Z if in doubt)
d) Do you want any AMD/NVidia specific features?

AMD-> Mantle (some upcoming games and BF4/Thief)

NVidia->
- Shadowplay (game recording/streaming and desktop recording)
- PhysX
- G-Sync (needs new monitor)
- Streaming (Shield or Steam via the NVidia NVENC video encoder uses for Shadowplay)
