So searching my computer I found that I have two unsecapp.exe applications, both the same size and date created. One is in the regular folder of Windows/System32/wbem while the other is in C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-wmi core_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.17514_none_177a088436382a34.

Is this normal, is everything okay?

BTW, from the thread you posted similar to this yesterday, I would say you are fine. That file and process is part of Windows and your scans were clean. No worries.

unsecapp is a Windows file. It has been around since the Vista days. It is supposed to be on your system. See here:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-security/cwindowssystem32wbemunsecappexe/307765c3-d81d-4d51-a412-2b98d0068969

The Unsecapp.exe application is used in the communication of two computers and this program starts automatically in Windows vista. The Unsecapp.exe application is used to send results back to a client in a process that may not have permissions to be a DCOM service. Both scripting and the Microsoft .NET System Management namespace rely on the Unsecapp.exe application to receive the results of asynchronous operations.

Have you run a full malware and virus scan of your system recently?

Okay thank you, I was just worried because I thought that there should only be one. I know this thread is similar to my last one, sorry about that, I happen to be quite the worry-wart.
