From the publisher:

"For Watch Dogs' minimum specs, players will require a DirectX 11 GPU with at least 1GB of VRAM, along with a quad core CPU and at least 4GB of RAM. Example GPUs include NVidia GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5770, and an Intel Core2 Quad Q8400 or AMD Phenom II X4 940."

Your CPU won't cut it.

The environment with all the cars, and physics, traffic lights, people, trains, and other calculations are processed by a CPU. CPU power you don't have.

The GRAPHICAL detail setting doesn't matter. They are completely unrelated and you are missing the point entirely.

Open environment games like this need lots of CPU processing power. If you haven't figured this out by now, please go spend $60 on the game and remember what I told you when it doesn't work.

What board does your PC have? That would be the easiest place to start. We know it is at least AM3 because of your current chip, but if it is AM3+ that will give you some additional affordable options.

Before you get too crazy, into this, I will leave you with this because I have to leave the house and I won't be back on for a while.

If you are AM3, Phenom II processors are your best bet, but they are out of production and typically cost $100+ for a decent example.

If you are AM3+, The FX-6300 is probably the best value and runs around $119.

I hope this helps.

Thats a very weak gaming cpu.

If you want to play watch dogs, and don't want to be able to make a cup of tea in between frames, take wurkfur's advice. The fx-6300 is about the minimum.
