Will installing a simple self contained water cooler like the Corsair Hydro H60 to my CPU/Prosessor, drop temperatures in my system from 60 degrees Celsius (on heavy load) to say 30-40 degrees? (Including graphics card)

When gaming my graphics card (especially now, in summer) gets to like 60 degrees Celsius, which is higher than I would like. If I got a simple water cooler for the cpu, would that cool temperatures all round, including the gpu?

The water cooler will blow the heat from your CPU out of the back of your case. so all of that heat that is normally produced by your CPU will been removed from your case. So yes it may help with the GPU by removing the extra CPU heat from the case, I don’t know how much it will really drop the temps of your GPU though, I don’t think it’s going to be a huge difference as far as the GPU goes.

What is your current system spec? I presume you have the stock cooler on your CPU at present?
