I ve got an asus 144 hz monitor which is being run by 2 evga gtx 780 ti's in sli, Sometime s i get weird flickering on the bottom quarter of the screen when in game menus, specifically in arkham origins when i highlight an option on towards the bottom of the screen. it has happened in a few different games, but only occassionally. I cant get it to do it all the time either, it seems pretty random when it does it.

Could it be a bad Dual link dvi cable? how should i troubleshoot a random issue? i dont think its one of the gpus, but my mother board has been giving me issues lately. Possibly a bad Pci e slot? It is and asus sabertooth z77 with a 3770k. I do have a backup mobo laying around, its an msi gd 65 gaming, not sure if i should go through the trouble of swapping it out

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do u still get the flickering if u use a different refresh rate? Can u raise it higher or are you running it at the max the monitor can take? When it happens is the flickering affected by moving monitor cables?

im running the monitor at the full 144hz. i tried wiggling the and reconnecting the cables, it hasnt done it since. i also lowered the trace free setting on the monitor from 100 to 80. i guess its just a waiting game now to see if it happens again.
