I've been hearing such mixed things about whether or not I should get a new CPU.
I currently have M5A88-V EVO with one of the first FX-6100 CPUs. I mostly play the Call of Duty games, Battlefield, etc... at 1080p.
I've heard the 6100 is a joke... and I've heard that I can't do much better with this mobo.
If I got something like the FX-8350, would I even notice a difference with gaming? Is there another CPU I should get?
P.S. Please don't recommend me new mobos. I want to maximize the potential of the one I have until I build an Intel system.
