Realtek audio drivers wont work for some reason? please help!

I worked perfectly before i used windows update. Since it is a new install of windows 7 it was alot of updates.. But now my realtek HD drivers aren't working and i have tried reinstalling, both with my manufacturer's drivers aswell as realteks drivers, neither worked..
My motherboard is a Asus p9x79. (if that helps)

Please help me.

Under task manager is there any notes for the Realtek device? Any notes is denoted with a Yellow "!" over the device image. If there's an error, seeing the properties of the device and windows will tell you what it thinks is wrong.

alternatively, If windows doesn't think something is wrong, under device properties under Device status you should see "This device is working properly."

It says "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)". What am i supposed to do with this? I have already tried different versions of the same driver. And by the way i have 2 devices it seems though neither works...
