I gave my wife my old gtx 570, would the 770 be a very noticable upgrade for me?

The 570 had more vram, so im a little bit concerned about the 770.

Im wanting to play battlefield 4 on ultra, and a very modded skyrim.

Hey newbie. Starting off, Video memory = more fps at higher resoloutions. If you run at 1280x1024 monitor, 2gb is more than enough. NEVER judge a card from its VRAM.
770 is the way to go, though that's a bit overkill. You can do yourself a favor and buy a 760 instead, but if you've got some extra bucks go for the 770. If you don't care about Nvidia PhysX go for the cheap deal radeon r9 280x

570 vs 770:

760 vs 770: (looks like it's alot, but it's not that much.)

EDIT: Could you give processor specs? If your processor is old, an upgrade will make your FPS smile. Happily.

D-EDIT: FYI: Acording to amazon, 760 is 75-100$ cheaper than 770.
