It should do fine on DayZ. However remember it is early access (applies to mod as well) and your performance might be lower and expected due to bugs etc. so if it drops it is more than likely that.

Wouldn't trust a 500w cyberpower PSU personally.
CPU and Mobo work together info

Everything else looks alright.

Well it's more the brand. If you are going to OC your cpu 500w-550w should be ok. Antec/Seasonic/XFX are the better brands. Where are you getting this computer from btw?

Its OK but it has weak points , particularly the mb and power supply .
The mb is 3 generations out of date and uses a chipset that was not designed to work with an FX processor . Obviously it can but it will never be as good as the 970/990 chipsets

Consider building your own and you can probably do much better in terms of component quality

haha yea I wondered from the mobo and psu :p

Custom builds will always trump prebuilts. Is that build $800 from cyberpower?

Well a link would help :p

But yea that seems very overpriced. I bet you'd need to replace the PSU within 6 months if not sooner. That is how the prebuilds work, they get you in with seemingly nice CPU/RAM/GPU and cheap out on the mobo/psu everytime. Most times the mobo/psu isn't even listed!

Are you comfortable with building your own comp? You will get a much more powerful and better quality computer this way.

As im 15 I have never attempted to build a pc before. Would upgrading the PSU to a 550W or 600W be logical?

550w should be plenty, but it just would make your build more overpriced. You'd have $890 prebuilt and a new psu @$50 would put you close to $950+ for a computer. You don't mention an OS, but I assume it comes with it.

Look at this for example:
http://pcpartpicker.com/b/N9b

Taking out the monitor from it and it's $725. He also gets a CPU cooler and a decent mobo.

Up to you, but 25% more for a prebuilt is crazy for how easy a computer is to put together. :)

99% of the worlds computers are assembled by people with no high school education and who earn a bout $30 a month

Honestly build your own . The experience will be more valuable than the computer will

Couldn't agree more. I built my first 3 years ago and you learn a lot of important stuff from it. You'll never buy overpriced phones/laptops/desktops again either :p  (at least I hope not!)

Up to you in the end, but have a read on this. http://www.build-gaming-computers.com/custom-gaming-com...

You also have many people here at tomshardware to help you if you need it ^^
