Heyy guys, I am planning out and organising all of my liquid cooling components. Case - BitFenix Shinobi XL Window

The gap, from the inside of the case to the upper metal border, is about 40mm, will i be able to put in a low profile rad (38mm) with a pull config of fans without disturbing the mobo??

I had the same question when building my computer. Really you have to make your own measurements; keep in mind the CPU power cable, which will probably be the highest point on the motherboard. What kind of motherboard are you going to use? I used a Sabertooth Z87, and the armor sticks out a lot more than most motherboards. Mount your motherboard in first, then use a metric measuring tool to get a good idea of how far the top of the case is to the highest point in the motherboard. Keep in mind if you decide to use push (out of the case, of course) then you will have to add in the thickness of the fans. Hope this helps.

P.S.- use high static pressure fans (you probably already know this!)

I am using the sabertooth 990fx right now, and the clearance with the motherboard installed is about 80mm to the top of my motherboard, out of which the cpu power cable eats up 20 mm.

I will do some adjusting since i got a big slack in the cpu power cable at the back. Thanks for the help :)

Yea, I am well aware of that, i will be using corsair SP's x3
