Just got an Asus A88x-Pro, AMD A10 7700k APU, MSI Radeon R7 250x.

Im having problems setting up AMD dual graphics. I have searched the web and found very little, I have tried the little that I did find but still do not have the option for dual graphics in the Catalyst Center.

I enabled the multiple monitors in my BIOS. Tried to force the PCIE with a 1g cache, also tried on auto. Still no option.

Everything has up to date drivers.

Anyone know whats going on?

While the R7-250 (Oland based) is compatible with the on-die GPU of the Kevari, I believe the R7-250X is actually a re-badged HD 7770 (Cape Verde). That would make it the wrong GPU to use in dual graphics mode.

But if it is any consolation, the stand alone R7-250X is at least as fast as the poorly implemented dual graphics would be with a R7-250. And a whole lot less problematic in games. I tried dual graphics awhile back with a A10-5800K and HD 6670. There wasn't much improvement over the discrete card alone.

Thanks for the info. The only reason I went with that APU was because I saw somewhere that they were compatible. Back to the drawing board I guess.
