Computer Problems Desktop

Solution

I'm fairly certain your PSU just broke and it may or may not have taken other parts with it as well. The only way to test this theory is to either borrow a PSU from someone or get a new one. Something with about 500W from the 1, 2a and 2b tiers of this list would be fine. Don't get a Corsair RM though, those are known for bad capacitors (heat and longevity issues).

Ok I accidentally didn't put the problem on the right place. I built a custom pc about six months ago, and it runs an AMD a series 2500k cpu, amd 7770 hd graphics card, msi motherboard, and thermaltake power supply. I was playing bf4 like any other day, and my computer just turned off. The light on the power button was blinking, as it does when it is asleeI unplugged it and tried to turn it on. I heard a loud pop, and It wont turn on anymore. I had just recently downloaded dead space at the time.

thanks bro, I will try that. I am hopeful that this experience doesn't ruin me for desktop gaming.
