My current rig:
CPU: i5-2500 Non K (with Hyper 212 Evo Heatsink)
GPU: EVGA GTX 570 HD
RAM: 1866 8gb
MB: Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z
Fans: 3 Exhaust, 3 Intake

I built this PC in 2011 and mainly use it for intense gaming. I play for hours and hours when, I get the time to, so it is important that I enjoy my experience without extreme rage :3. So far I'm running most older tech games on ultra, however I am finding myself always turning Anti Aliasing down on most new games because it becomes much too choppy, I also have to make sacrifices to Shadows, Anisotropic Filtering and certain other settings on occasion. I want to be able to run every game at max without having to make a single sacrifice, for all the damn money it costs to build a gaming rig I deserve that much. I know I made a huge mistake for buying the non K i5 however it runs perfectly and It's never held me back before. Do I need a new CPU? If so, I need it to fit my LGA1155 MB because I see no point in messing around with a perfectly capable Motherboard. Also, it's obvious to me that my GPU is quite old, but DAMN it's expensive for just the GTX780 Non TI and I feel anything below that wouldn't be worth it seeing as how the 800 series might be out soon. I'm most likely wrong, and yes I am a biased little sh*t when it comes to graphics cards because every ATI I've ever had was pure garbage.

Just some possibly helpful info: I am OCing my GPU and CPU now. I play Arma3 and it performs decent but I cant have View distance up at all, or shadows. I want that game to purr!
Wolfenstein TNO also performs horribly, possibly because there haven't been any driver updates or patches for it yet, It's very choppy on ultra settings. Hitman Absolution plays very Choppy at times and I always have to turn AA down to 2.
I need some advice please. My target is to run Arma 3 on ultra everything, full Anti Aliasing, full multisampling, Max view distance... etc.

Pros: The rig stays damn cool thanks to Noctua!

EDIT: Also on some games, the gameplay runs perfectly smooth and then in cutscenes the audio is completely out of sync with characters lips and actions. WTF?

Yes, an I5-3570K would help your situation allowing better overclocking. The most significant improvement will come from upgrading your graphics card. The range of GPUs I would recommend range from the GTX 760 ($250) then the R9-280X ($300) then to the R9-290 ($400). And of course you may need a new power supply to power your new graphics card.

And I like Noctua cooling too!
