Help me remove fun moods,

it doesnt show up on add/remove list.
I tried 3 major software for spyware and antivirus/adware.
super antispyware, anti malwarebytes pro. and avg full. none detected it, and windows 8.1 system recover/restore keeps failing to complete successfully and i cant get it to work . please help.

Try opening task manager end the process. Go to the location in which it is installed and delete it. Then go to control panel, and click on uninstall a program find it there and double click on it and a message should pop up saying that it is no longer detected or something like that.

Try adwcleaner, I'm usually pretty vigilant about this kind of stuff, haven't had a virus or any kind of malware, or an active anti virus in years, and this program managed to get a few things even I missed once.

so ive come to the conclusion that it only has something to do with google chrome. because i have no funmoods process running in task manager, no files or folders that contain funmoods phrase or what not. but even after uninstalling google chrome and reinstalling it, fummoods still comes up as the first tab to open. What am i not seeing here? my home page is set to google.com but i still get this tab opening up first.

Try uninstalling google chrome. After you uninstall it open this directory
C:\Users\"your username without quote"\AppData\Local
and delete the google folder.
