I've been scouring Slickdeals, other deals websites, and merchants. Prices are pretty good that I'm tempted to buy an SSD.

Some people say the prices are supposed to drop 20 to 30% this year and so I'm wondering if they have already reached that point (after the drop) or if they will drop further this year and if that's worth the wait.

I see a 480GB Seagate 600 SSD for $205 @ tigerdirect and saw a few others that were around that price point. Should I wait a month or two for prices to drop further (if that does happen?) or are these prices as good as they get for the time being?

Or would an 840 Evo be more worthwhile waiting for?

Please let me know thanks!

If you wait for the perfect time, you will be waiting forever.

Wise words!

840 evo> seagate 600?

840 evo is for $240 right now and Seagate 600 for $205

Personally, I'd probably get the EVO.
