Currently I'm working on getting parts for a build, but I have no idea what to do when it comes to power supplies. For now I'm thinking of this one (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-hx750) but I want to keep going through my options. I need one >750W and compatible with the parts below:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core
CPU Cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BL 78.1 CFM
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150
    Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Superclocked ACX
Optical Drive: LG BH14NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)
The build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/30D6N
(Please note that I already have some of the parts).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Solution
I currently use a Corsair HX750W. It's honestly overkill for my build (look at my signature for specs), but I chose it to feel absolutely comfortable with feeding my system with plenty of power. Happy building!

That's the same one I listed, so any other suggestions?
Oh yeah, and enjoy the free best solution. I have no idea how that happened.
