Upgrading Graphics Card, will it work?

I'm thinking about purchasing a GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card, but I'm unsure if my computer will be able to handle it, without the Power Supply upgrade I know it won't work, but I'm also going to be purchasing the Power Supply along the 770. My main concern is that the motherboard won't be compatible with it given how much older it is? The computer is a pre-built I bought about three or four years ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
First off, your processor will most likely bottleneck the GTX 770 in games.
Secondly, your motherboard would be fine. What you should worry about is your case. Since the GTX 770 is a fairly large gpu, it might not fit in your small, pre-built case.

Yeah. I figured that the processor would, it already kinda does. I plan on upgrading the mobo and cpu later once I get the money to do that. What determines if my motherboard will be able to work with it, other than that I need a PCI-E x16?

I also have a slightly bigger case that may be able to fit that 11.5' monster. Gotta go do some measuring.

Also, will that Power supply work well?

Could you recommend me one? Thank you for your help, I'll select you as the best answer. Preferably one that's below $150, but "can" support future SLI. From what I read the 770 needs 42 amps on the 12v rail.

I'll just go with the one I picked, has over 500 positive reviews, and it's one of the most purchased on Newegg, and actually has over 42 amps :p

Actually you read it wrong, it has two 12V rails to make roughly 80 Amps.
That Antec is a much better quality than a Corsair CX series power supply which uses cheap caps inside.
Recommend brands are: Antec, Coolermaster V series, Corsair( AX, HX or TX series only), EVGA SuperNOVA G2 series, Seasonic or XFX
Corsair CX series are bought the most due to the price. For what price you pay is what you get. I would not want to risk my expensive hardware on a mediocre CX power supply.
Reviews on Newegg doesn't really mean anything. It is power supply reviewers that should help you make your decision in buying power supplies.
Here is a review of the Antec 850W: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Antec/HCG-850M/

The Antec HCG splits up the 12v rail into two rails, so it has a total of 80amps on it.
I would highly advise against the Corsair CX series, especially if you plan to SLI 770s. Suztera has it right, the CX series uses low quality capacitors and it's not ideal for higher end builds. The most appealing thing is its price due to the lower quality components used to make it. The CX series are only used for budget builds where you won't really stress out the psu that much. If you stress out the CX psu, there's a good chance that it can die quickly.

I would recommend this Corsair one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139011&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Very helpful once again. I really need to do some research to learn more about SLI. I've never done it before, but I do plan on doing it in the future.
