So, I'm going to buy a GTX 770 for my gaming computer. My question is, which one should I buy? I was thinking about this one or this one...

Any others besides these are acceptable :)

Best regards,
~Tom Clark

I'd recommend this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (cheapest 4GB with a decent enough cooler that I could find)

I usually recommend 4GB versions because it's more 'future-proof'.
Some games now are almost reaching the 2GB VRAM usage, so in the future the 2GB could be a limitation.

I personally have the Asus GTX770 DCU II it's whisper quiet, I love the card. Heats up to around 70c when using the factory OC of 1160 but it plays my games just fine, I've never had the card pass 70c the GPU Tweak software is easy to use as well. As JaredzzC pointed out some games almost use up to 2GB vram it just depends on what games you like to play. You're basically getting a more tuned 680 according to the review of the card here on Toms. Which ever route you go it's a great card, and for the price of 1 780 you can buy 2 770's for SLI.

For 1080p 2gb is OK.

For 1440p or 2 x 1080p gaming monitors get 4GB.

I agree with Asus - cool and quiet. I still prefer Afterburner to Tweak though.

if you plan to overclock at all this is a beast card, it looks amazing, and because of it's better parts and bigger pcb can stay stable at high clocks really easily.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... i have the 780 version and am so impressed! also evga's support is second to none and are really easy going about the rma process.
