Solution
I do not play those games so can not quite comment on it.

If you are playing a game and the performance is not what you want, check of the gpu usage is high or low. If the gpu hits 99% when the performance drops(it may be close to that all the time depending on your settings), chances are the cpu is not holding it back(video card maxed out).

Now if your running along at high usage then all the sudden you get a performance issue and the gpu usage DROPS then the cpu is not keeping up and is holding you back.

Please note it does vary from game to game. For an example many MMO type games are much more heavy on the cpu than anything else. Large scale battles even bring fairly overclocked systems down to lower frame rates(cpu bottleneck).

This.

As long as you are not running some insanely heavy system(you know highly overclocked 1366 cpu or something) the 6770 is not a power hungry card at all.

Ran the 5770(same card) for over a year on a 300 watt power supply without any issues(and yes, I was gaming on it). The system was a lightweight so that helped quite a bit. That system still lives on today just with a GTX 650ti instead because it was more quiet.

thnx buddy .but i was thinking to upgrade my current cpu which is pentium d 2.8 ghz to core 2 dou quad. please also tell me that will my current cpu will bottleneck my graphic card

I think it would. The Pentium D(either 820 or 920 depending on how new the chip was) is a rather old chip, unless it was one of the Core2 based Pentium Dual Cores.

You have to be 100% sure that your system would support a newer cpu. Not ALL LGA 775 boards take Core2 and Core2 Quad cpus.

I also guess you must be getting a good deal on the 6770 because it is not a newer card. Cards like the 7770 are more power friendly and a bit faster. The problem is that this may be an issue with bottle-necking as well.

How much of a bottleneck will depend on the game as well.
