so will it support my gpu or should i go for a new psu plz reply i am on a tight budget and i wanna buy that gpu???

Your power supply is an older design and many modern 300 watt units provide more power on the 12 volt rail. You have 240 watts PEAK on the 12 volt rail(that is 24 watts less than the 300 watt power supply in the system next to me). For this reason along I HIGHLY recommend replacing it.

Older power supplies had been designed around systems that did not rely on so much 12 volt power as today.

Thank You!
It is good to see the fact that the requirement is for a full system not just a video card as I see many saying.
