Im trying to build a semi decent gaming system for myself on a budget, but want it to be reliable. I know reliable and budget probably don't go to well together but I would like eveyrones opinion on my build.

Note that I am new at this and if I have put together something that doesn't go well together please correct me and help me to sort out my wrong doings.

Well here it goes.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 Quad-Core Desktop Processor 3.0 GHz 6 MB Cache LGA 1150 - BX80646I54430

Graphics Card: Gigabyte GV-N650OC-2GI Graphics card - 2 GB - GDDR5 SDRAM

PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX500 V2 Power supply - 500 Watt

I'd get this PSU instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438012&cm_re=evga_500w-_-17-438-012-_-Product
The CX series is ok for really tight budgets, but it's high or miss to. This EVGA one seems to be a better brand at nearly the same price.

Everything else looks compatible to me. You can use http://pcpartpicker.com/ for helping you with parts/prices to. It also comes with a compatibility feature which is pretty accurate.

Edit: your HDD is ATA-300, you should get a newer HDD.

You can get the 500 model if you want, but the 1TB is a good GB/$ ratio.
