Best solution
1. R9 270x is an awesome mid range graphic which can play games @ ultra settings.
2. But when you move on to R9 280X/290X, both are known for high range graphic cards and bit expensive when compared to 270X
3. Your question: is R9 series better than nvidia? Lot of cards have already lost to R9 Series and there are still lot more that have won against R9 series as well.
But that doesn't mean R9 is weak. It's a good choice for new and existing gamers who want to play @ ultimate graphic settings.
Overall, R9 is the right choice.

Well the 7970 is twice or more than twice as fast as the 270x. So,the price is justifiable and very much worth it.
Well if u want towait, then you can wait for the power efficient Tonga GPU from AMD but it's performance would be lower than the 270/270x as it is to counter the 750Ti.
I'd say rather invest some more and get the 280 which is a lot faster than any of these.

PD: Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 Dual-X 3GB GDDR5 That one is expensiver than the 270 x one ,is it worth?Yes, Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 Dual-X is better than 270X. It is worth.
The only negative side of this card is its price. You can buy this card when you are in top 20 richest people of the world, Haha
The price is almost 2.5 times higher.
Also, you can wait as long as you can but the price is not going to fall down.
I can conclude this post by giving you out two valuable points:
> You can buy R9 270X and the price is affordable.
> If you can afford 2.5 times higher than the budget, then go with HD 7970 Dual X.

I don't understand how that site on my country has the dual 7970 for a bit more than the r9 270x
The r9 270x is for 161 euro
http://www.pccomponentes.com/sapphire_r9_270x_dual_x_2g...
And the dual 7970 just for 180 euro
http://www.pccomponentes.com/sapphire_radeon_hd_7970_du...
How is it possible, becouse you said there is a big difference on prices.

Lol Terky. You made me laugh. Look into the hd 7970 page carefully. It is a refurbished lol.
I don't recommend the used ones. Always buy a new graphic card.

I Have talked with support site and they said that:
A refurbished product, all those products are returned by customers without being used, or items that have been on display.
These products undergo a thorough inspection before returning to be placed on the market. Once they passed all quality tests, are brought back to the sales with all accessories and the same features as new items.
PD: Should i trust that answer?

Terky, I advise you not to take a big leap in buying a graphics card. Though it's refurbished, a quality of newer one cannot be met at all.
Go buy a new R9 270X which can seriously handle all sorts of high end games with ultra settings.
If you feel unsatisfied, save money and buy a new hd 7970 dual-x.
Our gaming desires are infinite so better be smart in shopping a right one for you.

I think i ll get the vtx3d becouse they only have it on the store, is it a good choice overall?Don't get a VTX3D brand graphic card, The quality used wasn't great and they cheap out on some of the materials used. I had a VT3D HD 7770 and it had a lower clock speed than the reference and it was difficult to overclock on it..
