I needed some advice regarding a new system I am building.
My usage would be for Photoshop, Illustrator, Coreldraw and some gaming...

No overclocking.

I needed help for choosing the Processor, Motherboard ,RAM and power supply SMPS Budget is INR 15k to 20K

Processor i5 4670 or 4430 ?
Motherboard : ?( Local dealer was suggesting Intel DH87MC )
RAM: Kingston HyperX 1600 8gb
SMPS: ?? W

Also,
1. Is there any significant difference in performance of i5 4430 and 4670 ?? ( 4430 is cheaper by 2.3K )
2. RAM should be 1 Module 8GB or 2 modules of 4GB? Does it matter?
3. Would I be able to use my old non-sata HDD and DVDwriter in this build ?
4. Will I need a graphics card in this build, or onboard graphics will suffice?
5. Advice on cabinet.

Thankyou for your time and help.

with newer pc make sure you use two sticks of match ram. you can run one stick but the memory controller will run in one channel mode not two. to save some money on your build look at a h87 and a 4570 or locked cpu. any of the i5 cpu are fine for gaming and photoshop most i5 are only few points slower from each other in speed. (stock ie 3.1 or 3.3) you wont see in real life aps any difference between a 3.1 or 3.3g cpu. new motherboards dont have ide ports on them there all sata ports now. for motherboards asus and asrock make one of the best mb for the money now. intel does not make there mb they have another compainy do this for last two years. it been about 8 months since intel stop making mb. for a power supply a good 650w will run...

i would suggest i5 4570 however 4430 is fair enough too.

Ram should be 2 module when you are getting higher sizes. so 2 x4GB should be preferred. It would benifit from udal channels and would provide additional speed benefit over single 8GB ram.

You can be fine with integrated intel GPU. but if you need additional benift for 3D works or gaming.

Cabinet erm Cooler master Elite 311 is good. You can choose some cheaper one too as you are not going to use some high end Graphic Card.
