Im planning to build a htpc/gaming pc for my livingroom.

Intel Celeron G1820 2,7 GHz Haswell
ASUS H81 mobo
60GB SSD
CX 430m PSU

can i add a mid end videocard without bottlenecking the CPU?

I have these options:

R7 250
HD7770
R7 260x
GTX750

And, is it better to go for a Pentium G3420 3,2 GHz for the purpose of this machine?

Thanks

Solution
That CPU doesn't tend to bottleneck the 7770, and so it should be fine for the majority of the time. Decent benchmarks and performance comes from that Celeron and 7770, I would say go for it!

I would go to that processor, or even an i3 4th gen if it is within reach. From the cards you listed, the R7 260X is the best choice, followed by GTX 750 then 7770.

The Pentium is better but I suggest you upgrade to i3,i5 or i7.Guaranteed no bottlenecks!Pick the Nvidia 750
