First gaming build!! Gigabyte Z87-D3HP Mother Board. HELP

ive recently ordered my pc from dinopc, but now im having second thoughts on the motherboard i chose, im not sure if its suitable for my other components? the motherboard is the Gigabyte Z87 D3HP and my pc specs are:
CPU: Intel core i7 4770k
CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS10X Optima
GPU: Geforce GTX 780 3gb
RAM: Corsair 8gb 2133mhz Vengeance
PSU: 750W Corsair RM Fully Modular
and im using windows 7 home premium
please let me know if i have chosen the right components. thanks - J

For gaming, the i7 and 2133 ram are overkill - unless you got them for a real good price.

should be OK just having the Z87 chipset. - dual channel ram to 3000, DSub, DVI and HDMI out, 7.1, usual pcie, only xfire though

Anything specific bugging you about it? Bad reviews or problems?

Well ive already ordered my pc and its going to come already built, but i did get the z87 for only £10.00 as it was on a deal, will i encounter any problems if i decide to keep the z87?? and will it be easy to change if my pc is already built?

I am a Gigabyte fan and have a few boards from them which have been a joy and trouble free. However reading the reviews it seems this board is built on the cheap and it's certainly one of their offerings I would avoid. You get what you pay for in the end and this board is designed to be cheap.

As i7baby said the i7 and 2133mhz ram is overkill. i5 and 1600mhz would be fine. I'd save the money and put it towards an SSD.

Don't forget you'll need 64bit version of Windows 7 to utilise more than 4Gb ram.

well i have a 120gb ssd and a 1 tb hardrive, would it be easy to change my motherboard in a few months time?? also, my pc wouldnt just be for gaming, it would be for a lot of things like 3D modelling, but mostly just gaming - thanks

For video editing , more intel cores is good as is more ram and faster ram. If you're serious you should look at X79. But you gotta be serious AND rich too!

You have specced your machine now so I would run with it and see how it goes. Changing the motherboard is not a very difficult job but I would like to think that even thought the board is cheap Gigabyte have done enough to make it reliable so you won't have to. Always better to read the reviews before you buy but a mb for just £10 is hard to resist.
