My step dad gave me his old laptop, its a Acer Aspire 8935g, he did admit it may need a good clean inside so im wondering if this may be the issue.
When i try to watch video it is very stuttery most of the time, and the left side feels really hot, in device manager the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 shows device cannot start code 10. I downloaded GPU-Z and it shows the temp at over 100degrees. I have basic tech knowledge but not enough to feel confident opening it up, so im just wondering if from what i know so far about the issue could it be worth taking it to a shp and let them open it up? Moneys tight so want to check if there is anything i can do first.
