My 1TB WD hard drive won't read on my Dell Vostro laptop although it reads on all other laptops (including Apple). Any help for a technically challenged individual would be great appreciated!!
Assuming you are hearing the "device attached" sound when you plug it in, it may just need a drive letter manually assigning to it. Strangely enough, it doesn't happen on all computers even though it's the same drive - - one of Windows' many quirks.
