First time build idea's help.

Afternoon people at Tom's.
I've decided to take an adventurous leap, and build my own PC as i'm fed up with laptops, generally their performance.

Below I posted some builds which I may be interested in, and would very highly appreciate your thoughts on them. What I am looking for is advice, criticism will do fine, and any improvements.
Please keep in mind I am working on a budget. I'd like not to spend too much on parts, considering I have just purchased a new car.

I did originally plan on getting the H97 for the i5, but i'm having to replace my old monitor, thus i'll be short of funds. But yes, as a future upgrade (mid 2015) I plan on buying the H97.

Not a clue at the moment, but i'm hoping I can get a decent one with good res for a good price. If my old monitor didn't die on me, i'd get the H97 I wanted :eek:
