Hello there everybody, this is the first time I am building a pc, and I am experiencing several problems with connecting all the cables to the hardware. There are a few cables that run from the top/front of the case, and they are different coloured. I do not know where to connect these, and the instruction manual doesnt mention this. I also have a Seagate Barracuda 1TB 64mb HDD, and I am unclear on what cables I should connect to it. I have an AsRock Z87M Extreme 4 mobo, and I am completely mind blown that it is so hard to connect everything. I also have the Evga Supernova 850 G2 PSU, if that helps.
Thanks in advance for any help.

AC'97 is not used. Intel HD Audio replaced AC'97 in 2004 for sound. Only very old motherboard would need AC'97.

The case has no USB 3.0 ports, so that motherboard header does not need to connected.

The Reset SW, Power SW, Pow LED+, Pow LED-, H.D.D LED are the System Panel Header connections. Download the motherboard manual from ASRock and look at page 24 and 25 (2.6 Onboard Headers and Connector).

The second to last picture you list shows the 8 pin 12V power connector at the top. This must be connected to the power supply. Your power supply has two of these cables but you only need to connect one (motherboard has only a single 8 pin 12V power connector). Here is a photo of an extension cable that shows what the connector looks like...

SATA cables are for hard drives. You need to connect one data cable to motherboard and one power connection to power supply.

Hey thanks. I now built it, but there's another problem. The pc turns on for 3 seconds, then off for three seconds, and then turns on again. I also think the mobo is faulty because there were no beeps when I removes the Ram sticks from the mobo. Please help!
