My computer tends to shutdown at random times while playing. Im using a i3-3240 in my PC. My core temperatures were both about 60C max while at heavy load. I also noticed that my thermal paste was burnt off really quickly on the left side of my CPU, within 3h, might have been less, didn't check. Are those temps normal or not?

60 is not too hot. the excess of thermal paste is more likely to be an issue, you shouldn't have been able to see any.
