I'm not sure which way to mount the Seasonic SS1250XM PSU in my Cooler Master HAF+912 Mid tower case. Because the case has a bunch of air venting holes in its bottom just under where the PSU would be mounted, I would have assumed that I should mount the PSU with the fan facing downward, venting the air out the bottom of the case. However the Seasonic manual says
"Depending on the type of computer case, correct mounting of the power supply will result with the fan side top cover facing the mainboard. This does not apply to all types of cases."

This would seem to imply that the fan on the PSU should be pointed upward toward the motherboard. There are also air holes in the back of the PSU, but no fan there.

I have the same question for the PSU G750W.

the hole that could go inside the case in the intake, the outside/back is the exhaust. so if you mount it upside down you are sucking are through the vents in the bottom, good if you are on hardflooring and remember to clean the vents (remember a PSU will give you zero warning that it is getting too hot, unless you can hear the fans). Or you have intake up, in which case it is sucking from inside the case, which is less likely to be so constrained as to be a real problem.
