hi i found a guide to oc your cpu it was the same as mine he was ocing it to 4.4 using 1.150V i got mine 4ghz at 1.150v but when i stressed my cpu maybe 20-30min i got blue screen said it shutdown to not harm my components what voltage should i set my cpu at?

Solution
how long should i run prime95? to test stableness or what do you say in english xD?

"Stableness" = stability.

How long is highly debatable. Some say 30 min. some say overnight or even longer. It is pretty much up to you. When I was testing my OC, I ran Prime95 for 3.66 hrs while I had 12 tabs open in Firefox surfing the net and MS Outlook running too. I was satisfied with that.

if i dont have enough voltage does it harm my computer if it gets blue screen and shutsdown?
and what voltage do you think i should try?

No. Too little voltage just causes system instability.

Just go up in increments of 0.010 v. until stable.

I have the same cpu as you. I'm currently at 4.4Ghz @ 1.155v. So try that. I then raised it up to 4.5Ghz (after a 1 hour stress test) But I got BSOD so I brought it back to 4.4. I think I'll leave it at that for now and do a long stress test to make sure it's stable.

My "uncore" clock is still at 3.8Ghz. IDK what that is but can someone tell me if that has to be raised too?

i cant do that couse i had a it at 4ghz and at 1.150volts and after 10-20min i got blue screen or BSOD

The "Uncore" is also known as the "Ring Bus". It is a bus which links the CPU cores to the other components outside the cores.

Ideally, the Ring Bus should be at the same speed as the cores as this will provide the highest performance. However, higher OC'ed CPU Core speeds can sometimes be achieved by running the Ring Bus at a reduced speed. There is slight performance hit when running the Ring Bus slower than the CPU Cores but that is usually offset by the higher performance of the overall CPU at the higher OC.

A 3.8 Uncore is perfectly fine. You may want to try raising it to the same speed as your CPU Cores and see if it will pass a stress test. If not, just set it back to 3.8 and don't worry about it.

Whoops. In my head I was thinking you reached 4.4 @ 1.150v. Guess I read it too quick.
