First time builder need advice for gaming/programming rig

Hello, this will mark my first self build now that I've got some money and I'm looking to get some feedback on the choices I've made. Mainly wondering if I'm over paying, getting bad quality, or have any incompatibilities. I've linked to pc part picker below.

I'm going to use this rig for gaming, nothing too hardcore but I'd like it to be able to get the most of a game's graphics/atmosphere. I will also be looking to do some programming with it in several different languages (mainly Java and web, but also some intensive CUDA for fun/learning).

At first, I didn't want to do any overclocking, but I'm thinking its not such a bad idea to spend a little more now to get a k series processor and then if/when I want to try later on, I'll just need to buy a cooling system.

I've also received a couple suggestions to switch my 29:1 monitor to a Korean brand, but seeing that the price has since been discounted to $350 with free shipping, it feels like a no-brainer now.

Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!

One last thing: I know Computex is coming up in a week and I'm thinking that I may want to wait on buying some of these parts, especially the i-7 I'm told, in case they go on sale. Anybody think thats the way to go? I was really hoping to start this build this weekend and I'm a little inpatient as I've been waiting a while now, and so how much would I realistically be saving if I waited anyways? Any guesses?

Lol nothing too hardcore?i7 4770K IS hardcore XD.
Your build is great.I think you need to buy a liquid cooler like the Corsair h100i or an air cooler like the Noctua NH-UD14S for great cooling.

Hi

Mini ITX is one of the smallest motherboard sizes and smaller than micro ATX
Probably not good for over clocking

A powerfull PC in a small case needs careful cooling design to prevent overheating when playing games. Especially with a 230 watt graphics card
Not sure how many fans in case as standard.

Do you really need 16 GB of ram or will 2 x 4 = 8 GB be enough ?

Hahaha, true, the i7 is a beast, but that's going to be more for programming, video encoding, etc. The reason I said not too hardcore for gaming is because I'm not really interested in a 780 card or SLI or anything like that. Don't need insane power, just almost-insane power.

In fact, I'm considering going down to a i5 to save some money. I would have liked to stay under $2000, but that i7 is so very very tempting.

Since you are a programmer,I suggest you get the i7 4770K :)
The i5 4670K will only be around for low cost gaming.

Yea, I was wondering myself if overclocking would even be feasible within this setup. I have very little knowledge about overclocking and so I was already a little unsure about whether or not I'd want to. I liked the idea though of taking a few weeks to learn about overclocking and thought it could be a pretty fun project.

I'm wanting to get more into hardware and thought it be pretty challenging/enlightening and so I thought why not give myself the option if I wanted to later on. Would you recommend completely against trying to OC in this setup and waiting until my next build?

EDIT - The Node 804 actually comes with 3 stock Silent Series R2 fans, not two
As for the stock cooling for the Node 804 case, Newegg states that it comes with two rear fans: 1 hydraulic bearing 140mm Silent Series R2 fan (1000 RPM speed) and 1 hydraulic bearing 120mm Silent Series R2 fan (1000 RPM speed). If I decide to downgrade to an i5 and not overclock at all do you think this would be sufficient cooling even for the GTX 770? Or should I still be looking towards a better cooling system?

The 16GB of RAM is a little much and I'm sure I'd survive just fine without it, but I do a lot of heavy multitasking and it'd be more so for that. Honestly, that part of my build is where I'm just getting a little greedy and just really want it haha.
