Can't decide!! Help please

I can't decide whether to go with a X4 760k CPU with R9 280x GPU or FX6300 CPU with HD 7878 GPU on my new build. After research, both came out at the same price, but which combo will give me the best gaming performane?? Thank You

depends on the game and if you plan to overclock.

in cpu intensive titles that 6300 will be better... in gpu intensive titles the 760k will. the lack of an l3 cache will hurt the performance of the 760k a bit, but the 280x is so much stronger a gpu then the 7870 that it should be overall a slightly better performing system on average.

When you are playing games,both fx 6300 and 750k are good at single core performances and obviously games rely more on GPUs than on CPUs so my recommendation would be going with the 280X and also I you can just add a little more bucks be sure to check out the FX8320 if you can go for it.That would be the most perfect system
