I have a 5 year old WD Caviar Green 1TB 7200rpm HDD (3.5in) that I am looking to replace. The read speeds are pretty terrible now (Just 63mb/s) and I want to upgrade to something a bit faster that will be quiet. My case can only comfortably fit one HDD so I want an HDD instead of an SSD (My budget is only $100) and I would prefer a 2.5in drive. I was looking at a WD black 750gb. Any good suggestions?

That depends on a few things, how much storage you need etc.
I'm presuming you need quite a bit, otherwise you'd have chosen an SSD.
In my opinion, you should grab a Hybrid Drive.

You get the best of both worlds in that it won't break the bank, and they're pretty big too.
