Can I fit an AM3+ processor into an AM3 socket?

Hi!
I have a problem. As it so happens, I'm thinking about getting a new processor, specifically an AMD FX 4350. However, my current processor (an AMD Phenom ii x4 820) fits into an AM3 socket, while the monster I'm heartily pondering over fits into an AM3+ socket? Will it fit? Because I'd hate to spend $120 on something that doesn't fit...
All help is appreciated,

Sorry but it will not fit - AM3+ has one more pin than AM3. So you would be able to fit your current processor in a new motherboard, but not the new processor you're considering in your current motherboard (presuming your current motherboard is AM3 not AM3+).

should be printed or on a sticker on the board and should be on the main bios page

I guess I lied about this board I got supporting that fx4350 , but if you look at this supported cpu list I'm surprised it don't you got to admit theres a lot of chips that will run in this board and for $45 I grabed it up to use as a household/test/use parts i got laying around here ...
