I have a cheap build I've been working on and I feel like I'm either going to completely over or under estimate how much power I need. My parts are:

Case- NZXT Tempest 210

CPU- AMD FX-6300 six-core 3.5GHz Am3+

Motherboard- ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX

Memory- Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB (2X4 GB) PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3 240-Pin SDRAM

Storage- Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB HDD SATA3 3.5"

GPU- AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB

Optical drive- Lite-on 24x CD/DVD Burner

I'm thinking I'll be fine at 600W but I would like a professional opinion. I've tried 3 different calculators and they all tell me different.

Thank you.

PSU calculators are deadly accurate if you give them accurate input.
Unfortunately , some things are unknowable.
Like capacity ageing, or your future needs.
Here is a chart which will work for you.

While a 450w psu will be ok for your R9-270, I suggest overprovisioning, perhaps to the 620w level.
1. A stronger psu often costs little more.
2. A stronger psu will operate more efficiently in the middle third of it's range. And... be quieter in the process.
3. If you should ever want a stronger graphics card, a 620w psu will likely be able to handle any single gpu card you might want.

Whatever you do, a cheap psu is false economy. Buy only a quality unit like Seasonic.
