Recently got a PC desktop with the following specs:
AMD FX-4130 CPU
Zotac Geforce GTX 560 1GB
4x2GB Corsair DDR3 1600mhz RAM
ASRock Extreme3 970 MB
Western Digital 1TB HDD
Standard Optical Drive
Corsair TX 750w PSU

Last night, the PC was running absolutely perfect. No crashing, no issues at all. I shut it down last night, thru start of course, and when I went to turn it on this morning it will power up but it will not boot, it won't even show the motherboard screen to allow me to access BIOS. I have treid reseating the RAM, CPU,CMOS, GPU, and everything else in PCI slots which includes a Wireless Network card, a USB Expansion card, and an LED Strip Control card. Nothing over heated last night, it stays cool as a cucumber with the CPUfan/heatsink, and the 6 case fans I have. What can I do to fix this on my own? I am a computer networking student and have taken hardware courses yet still find myself at a loss. I'd prefer not having to take this to a repair shop because I rely on CTA public transportation and it's a 30-40lb full tower, and have confidence I can repair what the issue may be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Corsair is a good brand so it's not the brand but may depend on the type and amount of use it got... What ever make at least a Bronce edition would be recommended. Also check the PSU connections, power cord and mobo connectors because a simple lose connection can make it fail... and if you have another computer available or know someone with a spare PSU you could borrow it and try on your PC to be absolutely sure it's the PSU... you have to try this because the next possible cause is the motherboard. Something else that sometimes works is resetting the BIOS with battery of for 5 to 10 minutes. Another possibility is the GPU but you can test that moving the...

So the PC isn't new, and anything could be the cause, but according to the symptoms you describe, I would guess it's the Power Supply... If everything will powerup... except no video and no BIOS beeps, the first thing to check and most likely culprit is the PSU.

So what brand PSU should I go with and do you think 750w is what I need?

It makes more sense that it would be the PSU because my 2 front USB ports aren't getting power to turn on.
