This is my first build so I would really appreciate any opinions/ advice on this build and any changes everyone thinks I should make. My intention is to make a future-proofed machine for high end gaming (no video editing etc) and for general use with the possibility of going SLI in the future if I decide to. Currently at £1700 and cannot really go above this but would definitely appreciate any decrease! In terms of overclocking; I am no expert on it at the moment but would definitely give it a try once I have read up on it.
Im based in the UK in terms of part availability.
I definitely know that I am not going to use more than one monitor (no space!) but beyond that I am not sure about monitor options as well. I was thinking about getting 2K 120hz monitor rather than one that can get to 4k but any opinions on this would be great also.( I plan on playing a mixture of singleplayer/multiplayers games).

Thanks a lot

You dont need an i7 its pointless for just gaming get the i5 4670k and 16 gb or ram is also pointless for gaming 8gb is plenty 1200 watts way more than u will ever need even with sli 850 watts would be plenty.

As far as future proofing i still cant recommend you shell out that kind of money for top of the line everything when you can spend a lot less on a build that would perform just as good.

Looks good to me. Though that power supply is a little over kill you only need 600W for that build though 650W 700W supplys are fine too.

In case I do want to go SLI in the future what PSU do you think I will need then? Yeah I thought it was a bit overkill tbh

As far as you know, do you know whether an i5 4670k will bottleneck an SLI 780 ti just out of interest?
Thanks for the feedback

the 4670k will not bottleneck anything, and for starters u can save money by going with a 290x
use this build instead
