I'm thinking in upgrading my 660 sli for a 7970 crossfire.
I found the 7970 for 550$ both cards, is it worth it?

More about : worth buy 7970 today

What do you plan on doing with it? Gaming? Video editing? Also, what are your other specs? From what I know myself, there shouldn't be a huge difference between the 660's in SLI and a 7970.

hmmm it is a lot of power but with the 290x almost the same price and the 780 similar its better to get one of those like this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
450 after rebate its about 85% as strong as the 7970 crossfire but in a couple years you could get another for a very reasonable price
