memry stick upgrade

I have 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.8V 256Meg x 64 in two slocks (Total 4GB) I order 4 gb two more memory to upgrade RAm but when I install new memory it would nto work and has not display, black screen come out.

Check that the RAM sticks are bottomed down on the RAM slots. Even a fraction of a millimeter off can cause such issues. After that, try the PC with the old RAM sticks removed and only the 2 new sticks installed on slots 1 and 2... then after if it displays, posts and boots, turn the PC off and add the 2 old sticks on slots 3 and 4. BTW, are the new sticks of higher specifications?.. if so, the more reason to install them on slots 1 and 2... higher speed stick should go on first or the PC may not boot.

I have only two slots in my motherboard and it has two memory pc2-6400.2 2 gb.i order pc2-5300 4 4gb =8gb.but when I install new memory into my PC I received black screen and nothing show up.

Could you post here the new RAM brand and if possible the web links to read the full specifications?.. include the motherboard brand and model.
